Jazz. Comedy. DISSENT.

She’s Back. And she’s PI**ED. Saxophonist Erica von Kleist is returning to Whitefish, MT with her new project “The Swing Resistance”. Flanked by an all-star band from New York and armed with her hilarious, feisty, original songs, Erica pulls the bandaid off of every foreseeable conversation. From women’s rights and religious hypocrisy to aging and the wealth gap, The Swing Resistance one of the most unique shows to come out of the jazz idiom.

Several years ago, Erica developed a one-woman show entitled BOOBS, which was met with acclaim and gained fandom nationwide. While this comedic escapade of estrogen is very much still a thing, Erica wanted to expand it to encompass more of her jazz prowess. With an incredibly generous grant from South Arts, Erica is now able to make her idea a reality, and will be bringing it to Big Sky Country as part of a residency at the O’Shaughnessy Center in Whitefish, MT.

This residency will also be filmed as a docustory about Erica as a songwriter and performer, which is set for release in September 2026.
